Simplified Skincare Routines

Currently, many people that have some form of skincare routine for their facial cleansers, moisturisers and other tinctures. Some people are potentially using way more than they need to. With there being morning skincare routines, followed by nighttime skincare routines, is this too much?

In some cases, creams and gels that we apply to our skin can cause more harm than good. Some add excessive oils to our pores and even irritating the skin itself. Which is where you might notice spots and acne begin to appear. It’s now being suggested that we merely need a few essentials in our routine.

This includes vitamin C serums to improve our complexion. Vitamin A for cell renewal and the production of collagen, and strong UV protection to reduce the impact of the sun’s rays on our skin. W

Improving Our Diets

While people have been getting to grips with the link between our diets and the appearance of our skin for some time now, this is likely to step up this year.

Being aware of the nutrients that we put into our bodies and those that we lack is an important step in maintaining a healthy overall appearance. Of course, watching our diets can reduce the amount of weight we gain, but it also has a huge impact on the quality of our skin, teeth, and even our hair.

Supplements that impact our hormone levels, gut microbiomes, and vitamin levels are all very useful for improving our appearance.

Consult your doctor before taking any supplements, as they will be able to offer you advice and also steer you away from taking any that aren’t going to benefit you.

Cosmetic Surgeries

There will probably always be a demand for aesthetics and non-permanent tweaks. But there are many types of cosmetic surgery can be done to improve certain aspects of our appearance too. A lot of these involve the head, neck, and face.

Nose jobs and eyelid sculpting have always been popular in recent years, as has the traditional facelift. Innovation is always happening in this area too, such as the concept facelift created by the experts at the Bella Vou clinic.

This is said to treat sagging skin and remove wrinkles while being much less invasive and having a reduced recovery time compared to standard facelift procedures.

Regular Dermatologist Check Ups

Our skin is such an important organ, providing protection against the elements and other damage. So taking care of it wherever possible is a great decision.

While we can do our own research and make our own choices on diet and supplements or what sorts of serums and moisturisers to use, it’s becoming much more common for people to seek regular dermatology appointments similar to visiting the dentist regularly.

In fact, dermatology appointments are incredibly useful in a number of ways.

First, they’ll help you decide on the best choices to make to improve the quality of your skincare routines. They can also help to detect early signs of disease and illness such as skin cancers.

When it comes to our skin it is always better to check out any thing you are not sure about.

So, there you have it, potential skincare trends for this new year.
