A visit to Brighton Palace Pier would not be complete without indulging in the delicious food and treats available.

The pier is home to a wide range of dining options, catering to all tastes and preferences. From traditional fish and chips served in a crispy batter to mouthwatering ice cream sundaes topped with all your favourite toppings, there is something to satisfy every craving.

For those looking for a quick snack, there are kiosks and stalls serving freshly made popcorn, candy floss, and hot dogs. Grab a bag of warm, buttery popcorn as you stroll along the pier, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a fluffy cloud of candy floss.

The choices are endless, and the flavours are sure to delight.

Arcades on Brighton Pier

This is a popular attraction to the pier, the sheer volume of arcades. If you enjoy a fruit machine, take your pick you will find vast amounts of them in the various arcades. There is also a high-stakes fruit machine section, which is for over 18s only.

The penny arcade is a favourite of mine

I changed up a £1 coin into a pot full of 2p’s and eagerly attempted to push that toy over the edge of the tipping point into my winnings. Who doesn’t want a cheap plastic toy as a memento of their day?

Racing games to play as solo drivers or duos are another popular game in the arcades.

Collecting tickets from challenge and skill machines, to then use to buy an item at the exchange can fill hours of your day

 

Funfair on Brighton Palace Pier

You will see lots of fun fair rides and attractions on Brighton Palace Pier

There are height limits on most rides, so if you are going with younger children be aware you might not be able to access all the rides. There are more suitable rides for younger children as well so they can join in some of the fun too.

The funfair rides can be a bit expensive in my opinion, ranging from £3.50-£5 per ride. You don’t pay cash for the rides directly to the assistants, you need to buy a preloaded card from the machine.

You also have an option of buying a wristband which gives you unlimited access to all the rides. On my recent visit, the wristband cost £20 and that does cover you for a full day of riding. Not sure if this goes up at peak times.

You can cater a day to however, much or little you want to spend. There are deckchairs along the pier where you can sit and watch the world go by and soak up the atmosphere if you are on a budget.

You can also take your own food and drink onto the pier, there is no bag search policy.

Shopping opportunities at Brighton Palace Pier

Brighton Pier Palace is not just about rides and food; it also offers a unique shopping experience. You can find numerous AirBnB short-term lets along the seafront as well as some fantastic hotels. Hotels in Brighton range from luxury to budget and everything in between.

Ultimately there is something for all the family to do and enjoy, it is always a great day out for us. The pier does not allow dogs on there so if you are bringing your dog with you to Brighton, going on the pier isn’t possible.
