Europe’s Top 5 Countries to Visit

Visit Greece

The birthplace of Western civilization, Greece is brimming with culture and history. From Athens’ ancient monuments to the picturesque islands, there is something for every type of traveller here. Take a stroll through Plaka and marvel at some of Athens’ iconic landmarks such as the Parthenon or take a day trip to one of the many Greek Islands like Mykonos or Santorini.

The islands are beautiful and there are some luxury villas in mykonos that you could mistake for another part of the world.

No matter what you decide to do, you can be sure that a visit to Greece will be an unforgettable experience.

Visit Italy

The best Europe tours always include a few days in Italy.

This country is home to some of the world’s most famous cities such as Rome and Milan, each offering its own unique experiences.

If you’re looking for art and culture then Rome should definitely be top of your list with its abundance of museums and galleries. And if you’re looking for something more laid back then why not head south and explore Florence or Venice?

Or if you want to go somewhere truly breathtaking then add Amalfi Coast and The Lakes onto your itinerary.

Visit France

From its delicious cuisine to its stunning coastline, France has long been one of Europe’s most popular destinations. Spend time exploring Paris’ iconic landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral or take a day trip out into the countryside where you can relax in one of France’s many quaint villages. Or if that isn’t enough then why not try some wine tasting along Bordeaux’s vineyards?

There really is no shortage of things to do in this country and would make a great family holiday catering to all ages.

Visit Austria

If you are looking for something off the beaten track then Austria should definitely be added to your list.

Rich in history and culture, this small landlocked country offers plenty for travellers who are looking for an authentic experience away from large tourist crowds. Vienna is definitely worth spending some time exploring with its stunning architecture, art galleries and music scene but don’t forget about Salzburg too – this city was made famous by Mozart after all.

Visit Spain

Finally, no Europe tour would be complete without visiting Spain. Southern Spain especially has some well-loved cities.

This beautiful country offers so much for travellers from its majestic mountain ranges to its vibrant cities with their rich cultural heritage.

Spend time exploring Barcelona’s renowned Gaudi architecture or enjoy some tapas while sipping on Sangria down by Madrid’s Plaza Mayor square – whatever it is that takes your fancy there’s no doubt that Spain will have something that caters just right for you.

Whether it’s soaking up some sun on the beach in Greece or exploring Barcelona’s Gaudi architecture in Spain – there really is something special waiting around every corner when it comes to exploring Europe.
