About Jana Reinhardt

A passion project for a husband and wife duo who have over 50 years combined experience making jewellery.

Initially, Jana set up her own jewellery business where she hand makes every single piece in her workshop in West Sussex. Her husband Ross later joined his wife and they now run the business together. Still, hand making all their orders. Jana manages all the wax carving, polishing and a lot of the assembling, while Ross manages the engraving and stone setting for bespoke pieces.

Being experienced goldsmiths all the jewellery is made with extra special attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship.

While trying to make their business greener and more sustainable, all Jana Reinhardt gold jewellery is made from 100% recycled gold. Whilst sterling silver is not quite 100% from recycled silver, they are working on it.

Hoping each special piece will be a treasured item, rather than a fast-fashion piece.

Both Ross and Jana feel strongly about animal rights. They decided in 2019 that they’d like to use their creations to try and raise money and awareness for different charities.

So far, they have been able to make jewellery in aid of OVAID (a charity that helpsorangutans), Galgos Del Sol (which looks after greyhounds), Friends of the Earth (£10 of each Pangolin Necklace sale goes to their campaign) and used their established fox themed pieces to fundraise for Keep The Ban.

They have also been fortunate enough to establish partnerships with both the amazing PETA and the NAWT.

Such a rewarding achievement for something made with so much love.
