This is my Lacura Charcoal Skincare Review
The charcoal beauty obsession is literally taking over, im trying more and more charcoal products
So many brands are making activated charcoal products.
Lacura is a budget friendly beauty brand sold in my favourite supermarket Aldi
It offers amazing results for all ages, genders and skin types
The charcoal range is the newest to hit the shelves, that is if your lucky to grab it before it sells out
I didn’t manage to get what I wanted on my first trip, but second time round I found a newly stocked section waving at me as I walked down the aisle
Lacura Charcoal Skincare
Aldi Charcoal Mud Mask
A 50ml pot set me back £5.99 which I was very happy to pay considering what I have spent on other brands
The Charcoal clearing mud mask is advertised to balance problem prone skin. Designed to reduce the appearance of imperfections and tighten pores
Made up of clay, coconut extract, bamboo extract and eucalyptus oil
The eucalyptus is a very fresh feeling on the face while wearing the mask
You don’t need much, it spreads very easily on the skin
I did apply a bit too much to each of my cheeks as the mud didn’t dry out like the rest of my face after 10 minutes of application
You can feel when the mask is ready to be removed as it tightens and drys
After washing off, using just warm water, I instantly noticed the smoothness of my skin and it felt fresh
Lacura Micellar Water
I love micellar water generally as this is what I use to take my make up off each day
To find the Lacura range with charcoal in as well just sounded amazing as I am a fan of charcoal for beauty cleansing. Plus it only cost £1.99
Advertised to purify and detox as well as leaving the skin feeling fresh
It certainly did just that
Fantastic removal of make up including black liquid eye liner and mascara
Effortless too, I simply put a bit on a cotton pad and wiped. The liquid is more translucent on the pad than in the bottle
I was quite gentle around my eye area as unsure how it would be, but it is absolutely fine and not at all irritating
There is an added fresh scent to the water too, I want to say rose but it has a fruity undertone. Either way smells nice
Charcoal Facial Wipes
I tend to use facial wipes when I am travelling, rather than day to day
£1.49 for a pack of 25 wipes, pretty good value I think
The wipes are black… Im not sure what I expected but was a bit surprised to see them
I noticed after that it does say black wipes on the front of the packet
They have a lovely scent to them and I certainly felt like I had a deep cleanse rather than just using a wipe
The removal of my eye liner and mascara again seemed effortless, I’m guessing this is where the fast absorbing charcoal comes into play and easily extracts the make up from your face
I did find my face felt quite dry after using them, the witch hazel in the wipes could be why. So not a recommended everyday wipe but certainly if you get a oily break out
I can not pick any fault with any of these Lacura charcoal skincare products, and I have already been and bought another 2 bottles of the micellar water
Im quite the fan of Lacura as a brand. The Lacura miracle products are a perfect winter skincare staple
If there is something you like with the beauty range, it is always worth taking a few extra’s for stocking up
Pin this to refer to later for when you head to Aldi

Sounds great – I’ll look out for this!
These look lovely to use, and quite affordable, too. Thanks for the review!
I love Lacura products, the quality is really good at very cheap prices. I have recently started using the Charcoal toner and love the smell. It is very effective and leaves my skin feeling really nice. I recommend their serum too.
I love Lacura. The black wipes are interesting!
Thank you for your review. I bought the Micellar Water and also find it great for removing make-up at the end of the day.
Must try – I love the Lacura range.
The Lacura range is actually great I love their oatmeal body moisturiser! Lots of their products are also cruelty free which is really important to me
