Fall in love with you this Valentines day with some personal treats
Valentine’s Day, Saint Valentine’s Day or The Feast of Saint Valentines, is a day dedicated to showing love and affection
The focus is always on another person, and your love for them
Gifts of flowers and chocolates, along with a card has become tradition since the 14th century
But did you ever think that, you are someone special in your life?
Fall In Love With You This Valentines
Self care and self love is something I believe is really important for everybody
Learning to accept yourself for who you are is the most important step to self love
Every body has beautiful qualities both physically, and emotionally which make them special
Self care is something we can all practise to help maintain our own wellness
Treat Yourself
Self care this Valentines could be in a number of ways
Whether you are single or in a relationship, the principles are the same
Take time to run yourself a nice bath and relax
Or take some time out of your day to read a book, or your favourite magazine
Having quality you time is a great way to make you fall in love with yourself
Taking care of your body will also help you feel good
After recently starting my Slimming World journey I am so much more conscious of what I eat and drink
It really has made a difference in how I feel physically
Using products on your skin which you know help nourish, will encourage you to feel good
I recently got this gorgeous set from The Body Shop and the products are so nourishing
Me Time
There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking some “me” time occasionally, or even daily
What ever fits into your lifestyle
Even just an hour every now and then can help to recharge, reset, and re-energise you
This is not only important for your own well-being but for those around you
Happy Valentine’s Day beautiful, make sure you get that beauty sleep
Let me know in the comments below about your self care routine. Do you practise any self care?

I certainly take time out for my interests and hobbies
I try to once a week i allow myself a long bath with a book or audio book and slather myself in body butter after lol x
Every night I treat myself to body shop products. Since using them, all my itchy red skin has gone! I use the chamomile make up remover, the ginger shampoo and conditioner and every night I have a bath with one of the body shop’s bubble bath. At the moment I’m loving the almond one. So this is my self care routine!
I do manage a little self care around a busy family and work but definitely room for more

My New Years resolution
I go to yoga classes every week and try to moisturise regularly
I do, I find a mini pamper session to be a great pick-me-up x
I’ve started just to pause several times a day, watch the birds, find appreciation for things, take a moment, almost meditating. It’s helping improve my frame of mind in general.
I try and make some me time
i always use moisturisers day and night it is very important to look after your skin
Yes i practise self care its important to me to make sure in this busy life i take time out for myself too!
I try to! Moisturising is my big thing, especially at this time of year!
By the time I have done everything that needs doing I have very little energy left so I have to stick to the basics of shower and go 🙁
Don’t really do anything I’m afraid
I always make sure I take ten minutes for myself everyday, preferably when I come in from work. It helps me destress and profit from my evvenings.
I try….but could probably try harder….

Alovely soak in the bath is my ideal self care treat – I usually watch a favourite youtube vlogger or TV show at the same time Bliss!
My method of self-care at the moment is staying away from my family, who have hurt and abused me in the most unforgivable way x
I do a bit of yoga and some deep breathing exercises – as well as long hot baths 😀

A lot more of late, I probably should have done more prior to now but we learn from our mistakes I guess, I have a morning and evening cleansing routine and have started taking certain vitamins and minerals, particularly evening primrose oil which has loads of health and beauty benefits
For me it has to be Yoga i’d be lost without doing my Yoga as i find it so relaxing

I do yoga for 10 minutes twice a day and go for a walk in the park about 4 times a week, which I find very relaxing.
No not often enough need start making more time for myself it’s exhausting running a house and after 3 kids
yes! I usually have a pamper over the weekends, put body lotion on, face creams etc , and I have recently started walking , which I am really loving
I try to most days. Even if it’s only 10 minutes for a peaceful cuppa. I can deal better with my children’s tantrums when I had some Me time.
The toddler can be a bit overwhelming now that there’s no naps but hopefully I will get some time to myself in the near future!
I look after my skin daily probably need to do a little more exercise though I do yoga sometimes

Yes it is important to take time to look after yourself
I love yoga to make me feel beautiful inside and out.
no i dont,i know i should as i tend to let people take advantage of my good nature a lot an i beat myself up about it,i need to learn to be more assertive an relax more
