As we seem to be flying through the year, I thought I would let you know what to expect from me in Blogtober
If you read that and then read it again, yes Blogtober is exactly what I meant. Blog and October combined if that helps you understand the meaning
In the blogging world I have heard this word thrown around so many times already. But it has got me thinking about my blog in October and how I intend to be more productive
Blogtober
I have been trying to make everything a bit more streamlined with my blog. Working for home full time now has helped me be a bit more productive and I am seeing the benefits
I feel like I have spent so much time updating, correcting and just re-fining some of my old blog post.
Generally an update is a good thing to freshen things up, especially as links and redirects can change.
My DA Score is important as a blogger and these house keeping tasks I have been doing have helped that improve score. I am delighted about my DA Score improving as it means my writing will become more visible on search engines
This year I feel prepared to take part in #Blogtober20 and join bloggers all around the world who intend to bring their readers, and followers 1 new piece of content every single day throughout the month.
This has been something which happens every year for a while now, I have just never felt prepared to take part
It is also a great way for me to connect with other like minded bloggers, which can hopefully open up future collaborations
What To Expect
It is a huge undertaking and it will take some preparation and scheduling.
I do have lots of ideas for content so creating posts hopefully wont be too much of a problem. Starting to write now means that I should have my posts scheduled for each day
The reason I am telling you this is to ask for your support during October. By support I mean your time to read my new posts
You can expect to see some giveaways too. Entering competitions is a hobby of mine so I will always try and bring that hobby into my content for you guys as well as a thank you for your support
I have a new blog which I have spent some time creating over the past couple of weeks CatchUpWithClaire.com . I am hoping to bring you more content on during Blogtober over on there too

I have heard of it as I’ve seen in mentioned on some other blogs I follow.
I have never heard of blogtober until now. Not sure if I would able to participate for the 2o2o edition.

DA Score??? Please enlighten!
A websites domain authority score is it’s ranking within search engines such as Google. The higher your DA score the more visible or higher up the search you appear, ultimately more site visitors and readers

In all honesty, no I hadnt heard of it before now.
No. Normally as we do :- break the word / term down into smaller preferably known words. = Blog, October. So provides some information / understanding.
New terms are always best explanation, as reduces risk of Misunderstanding. Also is Inclusive and Kind / Considerate.
Sometimes there is a need for new words, terms, event,, etc. New technology, innovations, etc.
