The packaging is adorned with festive illustrations and vibrant hues. Made of community fair trade recycled plastic it has beautiful treasures concealed within each of the 3 compartments. It is a moment of pure holiday enchantment as you open each drawer to expose the selection of advent goodies within.

The attention to detail is evident with each compartment having festive numbered boxes which are beckoning to uncover its contents. Each draw has a mixture of dates so it is not in order and I love this extra touch of mystery to the unboxing experience.

Navigating through the enchanting labyrinth of The Body Shop’s Wishes and Wonders Advent Calendar, certain treasures emerged as personal favourites, leaving an indelible mark on the holiday beauty journey.

Shea Body Butter: The Shea Body Butter, is a classic from The Body Shop and remains a timeless favourite of mine. The rich, buttery texture envelopes my skin in a cocoon of hydration, leaving it soft and supple. The nutty aroma lingers, creating a comforting embrace that feels like a winter skincare essential. This is one of my all time favourite scents. The body butter is a daily staple, the perfect hydrating skincare especially as I get dry skin in winter.

Spa-worthy Bliss with Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask: As the first revelation, the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask set the tone for self-pampering excellence. The earthy scent and the tingling sensation hinted at a spa-worthy experience. This mask, renowned for its detoxifying properties, transported me to a serene oasis of rejuvenation. Using this is part of my weekly selfcare routine.

Sleep Calming Pillow Mist: Having a good night’s sleep is really important to me and I have used numerous sleep mists over the years. However, this calendar introduced me to The Body Shop pillow mist. A little spritz on my pillow once I have made the bed in the morning and it can still be smelt by the time I go to bed in the evening. It is a gorgeous lavender scent and certainly does the trick.

Final Thoughts

This limited-edition festive treat adds an extra layer of exclusivity. It makes each day’s unboxing a moment of anticipation and delight. The only negative I can think is I was expecting a piece of make up. Whether that be a neutral coloured lip liner or a blusher, just something from the make up collection considering they have recently relaunched.
