I am going to show you what I received in my April 2018 box.
This was my first ever Glossybox so I was a little unsure of what to expect.
The 5 beauty items are:
Angled MakeUp Brush RRP £5.50
Matt Effect Transparent Loose Rice Powder RRP £9.35
Eyeko London FAT Liquid Eyeliner RRP £16.00
Imperial Leather Unicorn Marshmallow Foam Burst Body Wash RRP £3.15
Karl Largerfield & Model Co Baked Blush RRP £tbc (unreleased product)
Contents worth approximately £40 – cost of box £10.00 plus £3.25 postage and packaging
I have already tried out all the products of course and I can honestly say I am impressed with all of them
My Review Of Each Product
My favourite product this month is the transparent loose powder which is by a brand I had never used before called Affect
This is a brilliant transparent powder and I have been using it to bake my concealer and set my foundation
It smells absolutely lovely, and the finish is so smooth and leaves your skin feeling very soft
The Eyeko Fat Eyeliner is a lovely solid black colour liquid and the felt pen nib makes the application very easy
I find it a bit strange holding the pen, as it is thick and I am used to my thinner Kat Von D liner so it feels a bit odd applying it but the results are great
Very even lines so I am looking forward to using this more
The Baked Blush is a very nice colour and the application is smooth and the pigment settles nicely on my cheeks
For me personally, this isn’t the type of colour blush I use as my skin is a fair/medium tone, more medium than fair and I think its too light but I have used it to highlight my brow bones which have worked nicely
Imperial Leather has done well with the limited edition Unicorn Marshmallow foam burst
It smells divine! Comes out like a gel, and instantly foams up when you start using it, shame it’s only a limited edition
A girl can never have too many make up brushes and this super cute signature Glossybox angled makeup brush has nice and soft bristles
You can use it on eyes, lips and brows so well worth adding to my collection

I love makeup and wear makeup regularly
For me, this subscription box gives me the opportunity to try brands and products I might not have previously bought and tried
I think the cost of the subscription is impressive considering how much the contents are worth
Also, if there are products within the box that might not work for me or I already have, I could easily sell them on to other makeup lovers on Depop or Mercari and potentially make more than what I paid for the box back
Can’t wait to see what arrives in my May Glossybox
Pin this for later

I like the idea. do they ask for your skin tone colour and eyes and hair colour etc before choosing the products
Sounds worth it. Im slowly liking sub boxes
