If like me you enjoy the occasional treat, but are on a budget I have some great ideas for you. Well I can tell you 5 ways to treat yourself when on a budget

Treating yourself is perfectly ok and you should never feel guilty about it. I have a problem that a lot of the treats I enjoy are far too expensive to enjoy on a regular basis. Having my hair done in a salon, or going to a nail bar and getting a manicure and pedicure. Even a shopping trip with friends and then dinner can all be pretty expensive

So I thought I might not be the only one who needs to read this, here are 5 ways to treat yourself when on a budget

Everyone has their own ideas on a treat. Mine is something that you enjoy or makes you feel good. Something that isn’t an everyday occurrence so feels special when you do or have it

Reading a book

A lot of us don’t have the time in our busy lives to spend an hour or two engrossed in a romance novel or a thriller, which ever floats your boat. I used to read all the time years ago when I had more time. Now it generally feels like a treat and I can really relax and enjoy myself. I love re-reading an old favourite

Take A Bath

No, not just a regular bath. A fancy bath you know the ones with all the bath salts or bath bombs. Something a little bit more exciting and relaxing. Light yourself a candle and have that glass of wine you have been wanting to enjoy for a while now

Netflix and Chill

This is not just for dates or couples. You can totally just watch Netflix and chill out because you deserve it. There are so many programs, films and series on Netflix and you are bound to find something you enjoy

Pamper Yourself

Make yourself your own little spa at home. After you have had that relaxing bath, put a hair mask on and a face mask. Top up your fake tan, or just apply some to make you feel like you have been sun kissed. Work with what products you have already at home to keep the price down

Go For a Walk

Walking can be very good for you, I wrote about 3 benefits of walking. Take in that fresh air and feel the endorphins from the exercise you will thank me for it later. I know walking isn’t practical for everyone but just enjoying some form of exercise can feel like a treat

    I rarely have a bath, but really must indulge in one soon! It’s amazing how luxurious a bath can be when you don’t have them all the time! One thing I really need to get is a bath pillow to make it even better 🙂
