Valentine’s Day, Saint Valentine’s Day or The Feast of Saint Valentines, is a day dedicated to showing love and affection
The focus is always on another person, and your love for them
Gifts of flowers and chocolates, along with a card has become tradition since the 14th century
But did you ever think that, you are someone special in your life?
How about your love for yourself?
Self care and self love is something I believe is really important for everybody
Learning to accept yourself for who you are is the most important step to self love
Every body has beautiful qualities both physically, and emotionally which make them special
Self care is something we can all practise to help maintain our own wellness
Self care this Valentines could be in a number of ways
Whether you are single or in a relationship, the principles are the same
Take time to run yourself a nice bath and relax
Or take some time out of your day to read a book, or your favourite magazine
Having quality you time is a great way to make you fall in love with yourself
Taking care of your body will also help you feel good
After recently starting my Slimming World journey I am so much more conscious of what I eat and drink
It really has made a difference in how I feel physically
Using products on your skin which you know help nourish, will encourage you to feel good

There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking some “me” time occasionally, or even daily
What ever fits into your lifestyle
Even just an hour every now and then can help to recharge, reset, and re-energise you
This is not only important for your own well-being but for those around you
